The Magic of Music - under Director Margarita Khaitov -  is an outstanding place for children to learn about music.  Our neighbors first suggested the studio when we began looking for a teacher for our daughter.  We could not be more pleased.  We suggest that anyone looking for a quality music institution give them a try!

- David Lamendola, father of Molly (piano)

We read about “Magic of Music” in a newspaper article that features the studio and were so relieved to find a structured, professional place where our piano students have flourished.  It’s reassuring to know that the instructors are familiar with NYSSMA requirements and knowledgeable about preparations for college auditions.  We have enjoyed attending the recitals where the talents of the teachers, as well as the students, are exhibited.

Margarita is accommodating to parents regarding scheduling of lessons, as well as to the students and their varying interests in different styles of music.  We’re looking forward to a future of music in our children’s lives with great anticipation, thanks to “Magic of Music.”

- Stacey Gallagher, mother of Jason and Meghan (piano)

Our kids, Nathan and Nick, started taking lessons at Magic of Music Studio almost 8 years ago.  We are pleased with the studio and the outcome.  Our boys really enjoy the lessons.  Thank you for the teachers and director.  The studio is very welcoming and encouraging for the kids who wanted to learn music and any musical instrument.  Thanks again

-Julie Alexander, mother of Nathan (piano) and Nicholas (guitar)

For years, I tried to find something different that I could share with my daughter and that was not part of our daily routine.  One day I decided to take piano lessons as my daughter had already been taking piano lessons at the Magic of Music Studio with Mrs. Khaitov for a number of years.  To my surprise, not only am I spending more time with Anna, but I found something new and fun that can be a stress reliever.  I look forward to my weekly piano lessons with Mrs. Khaitov and I recommend her studio to any adult or child who wants to learn something different and exciting

-Edi Samaniego, piano student and mother of Anna (piano)

The Magic of Music has been a wonderful program for my daughter to learn to play the piano in a fun and comfortable environment.  We love it.

- Sharon Devine, mother of Jayda (piano)

Magic of Music is truly a magical place.  This is my children's 5th year of taking guitar lessons at the Magic of Music Studio.  Not only are they excellent at teaching, but, also, my children look forward to every lesson.  I highly recommend it to anybody who is looking to learn to play the guital.

- Zata Palange, mother of Izabella and Darius (guitar)

I am delighted with the Magic of Music Studio.  Being a student in my forties, I though I was too old to learn piano.  However, this wasn't the case at all.  I am very comfortable here and enjoy taking Monday night lessons with Linda Boppert.  She makes learning to play relaxing and fun.  What a great way to spend "me time".

-Claudine M. Wendt (piano)

We are very glad to find Magic of Music where my son enjoys playing the clarinet.  His teacher Ellen, helps him a lot to get to know new music.  She is very knowledgable and generous.  We are lucky to have her.

-Kate Lee, mother of Seungeui Byun (clarinet)

Onovu has been taking music lessons - first piano with Mrs. Margarita - for several years.  She attend Albany School of Humanities and last year, as a third grader, she was able to join the orchestra.  She chose the violin as her instrument, which I was hoping she would do.  This year, while she continues to play in the school orchestra, she also takes lessons at the Magic of Music Studio.  While it has only been a few months, I can see her love of music and passion for playing grow even more.  Music is such a powerful and creative outlet for development, learning and expression.  It is wonderful to see her connect with their instrument and bond with Mrs. Papa, her teacher.  Sitting in the room as they practice, pluck strings, discuss notes and technique, I look forward to the growing sparkle as my daughter  develops an even deeper appreciate for the sound and melodious beauty of music.

-Jessica Otitigbe, mother on Onovu (piano and violin)
