History
The Magic of Music Studio was established in the summer of 1982. When the studio first opened its doors, it only had 10 students. Over the years we have grown tremendously and now have over 120 students and continue to grow because of our excellent reputation and exceptional teachers who make learning fun and enjoyable!
About the studio
The Magic of Music Studio is proud of its ever expanding program that offers music lessons to students of all ages and levels of ability. The studio offers quality instruction by some of the Capital Region’s finest musicians/teachers in a variety of instruments and voice. Lessons are individually tailored for each student regardless of previous musical training or age. So whether you are young or young at heart, you will find a comfortable learning environment to learn how to play instruments of almost any kind. We work with sensitivity to any age group no matter how young or old. We believe that music is truly the universal language that enriches those who want to learn more about it.
The curriculum that we offer is comprehensive and functional, offering lessons in ear-training, sight reading, technique, theory and repertoire. Training is offered in traditional and classical European methods.
